INFO:

The DF95 Region 1 Championship Regatta will be held on March 28-29, 2026 in Newport at the Sail Newport facility on Fort Adams.

This is a DF95 class sanctioned regatta which will award points towards national ranking.

What does that mean:

• Skippers MUST have a registered sail number:              https://form.jotform.com/211645290038149
• Skippers MUST be a member of the AMYA:                            https://www.theamya.org/Membership.asp

REGISTRATION:

• The fee for the event per boat is $65, non-refundable
• Registration will be limited to 40 entries
• Entry form and fees must be submitted by 3/20/2026 . After which the registration period is closed.
• Payment can made via on line registration at: https://www.NewportModelSailingClub.org
• The Organizing Authority shall announce the official entry list no later than 3/25/2026.

• Friday March 27
  • 1400-1700 Check-in, Equipment Inspection, Practice.
  • 1730 - Social - cash bar, location TBD
• Saturday March 28
  • 0800-1000 Check-in, Equipment Inspection
  • 1000 Skipper’s meeting
  • 1030 First Warning Signal
  • After Racing: Social at Sail Newport
• Sunday March 29
  • 0900 Skipper’s meeting
  • 0930 First Warning Signal
  • 1500 No initial Warning Signal shall be made after this time.
  • Awards presentation immediately following final race.
