Brad Read was named the 2025 National Champion after the DF95 National Championship Regatta held at Sail Newport October 17-19th. After 14 heats (56 races across A-D fleets) and two throw-outs, Brad bested brother Ken Read for the win.

The fleet included 58 competitors from around the country - San Diego, Chicago, Texas, Florida, local Rhode Islanders & New Englanders, and more. Fantastic weather with a windy first day, lighter air on day two and a breezy A to B rig southerly on the final day kept the racers busy sailing off the Admiral's Pier in Brenton Cove.
