Racing Results, Sunday, February 11

Another well attended session this morning with 20 boats on the line. As always, Parker set the initial course and Kenny did his professional tweaks, thank you and great work you guys!  The weather cooperated again with mid-40’s temps and with a 9 ish knot northerly.
Here are the techno wizards that are getting our drone bots up and running. NMSC probably has the unique situation of being the only RC sailing club to have 6 of these little babies being developed and deployed.  Again, a BIG thanks to Matt Sole for heading up this effort.

Oh, yeah! Back to racing… The course allowed the fleet to get a lot of racing in with 12 races on the board.   Amo Ross kept out of the scrums and breezed to a low key second place finish behind Kenny. Anthony Kotoun filled in the third spot with a consistent day. I can’t say the same for the Matt and Scott show that kept the dock in stitches all morning. Whether windward/leeward, port/starboard, or luffing/proper course, you needed a lawyer to litigate the race. Great fun listening to the banter.

Great to see so many skippers out here in the middle of winter!

See you all next week!
